Recycled papers and acrylic paints

I really loved making this card, so fun! Inspired by the new frant-tage technique, I splattered acrylic paints to my natural/recycled paper that resembles sand and splashes of water. Cheap and fun! Hehe.

Slow Down…!

I was reeeeaaaaallyy stoked when I saw Mindy Terasawa moved her store to Pixels and Company. A. I love her stuff so much, B. I am one of the creative team members of P&Co. so I get to play with her awesome stuff more :D I use one of her kits (actually, a paper pack hehe) to make this card here. And notice that sentiment? I have been wanting to pair this stamp image with that sentiment. Just perfect!!

You’re So Special

I loooovvveee coloring up my stamps. Sometimes I’m stuck for ideas on how to assemble it to a card. This one started as a really simple sketchless card (I almost always start with a sketch) and it turned out really cute, I like it!! :D

Sparkling Red, Blue and White

Postal service here sucks… That’s why I need to mail cards way in advance so that it will arrive on time. I made this card for a friend in USA. This is a fourth of July/independence day card. This is also a card I made for my DT, The Rubber Buggy.

Have A Splendid Day

Even though I was absent from blogging, I still host challenges and also create cards. Here’s one of the cards I made for a challenge. The theme was “Spring” because the season was ending and I thought an homage was very fitting :)

Lazy Days of Summer

Hello again! It’s sure a little bit hotter here in Jakarta. But it’s great because it means summer is here and my niece & nephews are on break so we get to see each other more.

Now speaking of summer… Here’s a card I made for a challenge I hosted at The Hybrid Chick blog. The theme is “Lazy Days of Summer” and you can interpret it however you want. I interpret mine using pastel colors and bold colors together like the one below.

Miss Me?

Helllooooooo! How are you all? WOW! This blog has clearly been abandoned and I’m sorry for that. I have been really busy with big big things that are about to happen in our lives here. But now it’s calming down and I’m ready to blog again :D

Okay, let’s start with a new card that I made for The Rubber Buggy challenge. This is a sketch challenge and will run for a month. So go, get cracking and participate ;)
