Lazy Sleepy Days

Hmmmpphhh… Blame the weather for wanting to just curled up on my bed. I am also a bit tired due to the charity rally we had yesterday. I got home early yesterday because I knew if I didn’t nobody’s gonna hold the fort this morning. I was right. It was like the holiday edition of our usual morning show! Heehee. My throat was hurting and it was really quiet at the office, but I was so happy. The event was a success! Kudos to you, KIS FM team!

Anyways, I managed to make a card on the weekend. As usual, haven’t gotten round to taking a photo of it. But, fear not, since it’s the holidays I’m gonna snap a pic soon. I got another card waiting to be finished too, so perhaps this week could be a ‘fruitfu’ week?  Well, that is if I can get my hands off playing Surviving High School and Cause of Death! Darn it, Electronic Arts ALWAYS makes the most addictive games! Heehee.

Here’s a card for you today ;p

Yummy!

Oh yes, the days of staring at my stash are here again. My ribbon and button orders are here, and I’m excited about creating. Flipped through my Papercrafts magazines, newest Cards magazine, and then opened my hard drive… 1 minute, 3 minutes, 5 minutes, 15 minutes.. Wait, have I just been staring at these eyecandy? I’m afraid so. There are so many goodness that I’m so overwhelmed. Don’t know where to start, well don’t know which ones to choose to be exact. Grrrrr. This happens to me a lot, that’s why I really wanted to have someone with the same interests as myself to bounce off ideas with. To look at my digi and stamp stashes and say “Well this one looks great with this” or “You can try this with that”. Yeah, in desperate need of a card-making buddy!

Anyway, I’m sure you know about my love for cupcakes. Well, here’s a card that satisfies my lust for cupcake heehee.

My Mom went to Singapore a couple of weeks ago and she bought me Memento inks. They ran out of Tuxedo Black and Rich Cocoa, so she got me London Fog and Potter’s Clay instead. I must admit, I have only used Archival Ink all this time. Partly because I’m frugal, but partly also because I have only used watercolor pencils to color in my stamped images so I didn’t see the need to buy Memento. I have heard so much about them being markers’ best friend, and they’re not kidding. I just gotten around to using them a couple of days ago and I’m impressed! I have very little marker collection (Copics are sooooo expensive!) but this is such a great addition to my (small) ink pad collection.

A few days ago Scrapgirls is having a Christmas sale, and I had my eyes to these yumminess for MONTHS. So what did I do? Pushed myself off the edge and got this for a sahweeeet deal! Heehee. I’m planning to make a card and maybe a gift cover for my partner’s unborn baby Liv. She’s gonna be spoiled rotten by me and my husband for sure!

I’m guessing right now you can already figure out my style. I tend to buy girly kits with whimsical illustrations. I don’t know why I have such spot for that kind of things. It’s pretty contradictory in real life I guess. I’m basically a rock chick with a geeky attitude who loves girly kits and killer pumps and heels. Haha.

It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like

… Christmas! Oh yeah, I am loving it. Everywhere I go I hear Christmas music playing and decor in warm Christmas colors. I love this time of year! Believe it or not, eventhough I don’t celebrate Christmas (as in, religion-wise), but I am crazy about Christmas! I can buy like half a dozen Christmas kits just because I love the patterns and the color and how fuzzy-warm they make me feel. Ooooohhh, I really can’t wait for Christmas!

Anyway, here are some last minute Christmas cards just because I know my Mom would frantically asks me for a few to give out to her friends and relatives along with her signature cookies. Heehee. By the way, these are mini 3x3 cards.

Weekend!

Yaaaayyy! Finally! Next week is quasi-holiday for me! School’s out for the holidays, though my radio work is still on. Well at least I’ll only be out for like 6 hours a day (max), right? Hehe. The rest of the day can be spent baking (yum!) or well, of course, crafting! I went and got a little crazy buying ribbons and buttons the other day, and also a sponge dauber. I am holding back on purchasing stamps lately, I’m thinking about getting more dies and tools more.

Well anyway, I am still so over the moon over the new Labels Four compatible stamps from Waltzingmouse Stamps. So here’s another card with one of the stamp.

And that pleat is my very first attempt in ribbon pleating. I think it was okay for a first try :p What do you think?

Oh yeah, here’s some more stash I bought a while back

Flowers and Laces

A lot of my mails are lost recently. I had to go to the central post office armed with tracking number to get my Spellbinders’ Nestabilities package. It’s not usual that it got lost somewhere or that it arrived more than 2 weeks! Thanks goodness it was safe and i fetched it just in time! Otherwise… Pffhhh, 80 dollars down the drain!

Anyway, along with my new Nesties, I also ordered a couple stamps to match the dies. I have longed for them for a long time, until I finally gotten the money (and the will) to get them altogether :D Wanna see the goodness?

And my new dies, tada!

And of course, I just HAVE to create with them, right? Here’s one I adore so much :)

It’s Still Fall Somewhere, Right?!

So… Where was I? LOL. Yes I know, so sorry I, yet again, bailed fro blogging. But the good news is, I’ve photographed ALL of my cards and still making more. Will be sharing them one by one as well as my recent shopping madness. You really can’t beat Black Friday! I feel like in eye candy heaven!

I fell in love with these papers instantly when it came out a while ago. It’s by Zoe Pearn, one of my fave digi designers!

Speaking of Zoe Pearn, I have been religiously collecting (most of) her releases ever since I stepped down from her team a while back. I cut back a looooooad of teams, and I feel good about it. Right now I can do what I want and create with whatever I want. With much much LOVE of course. Anyways, she sells at my fave digi-shop and that is Sweet Shoppe Designs. Here are the things I bought there a while back.

Wheeeeewwww! Yeah, that’s my purchases from both Black Friday and Digital Scrapbooking Day sales. Stay tuned for more from other stores! Teehee!

Emergency!

Oh my gosh, how long has it been? Too long I’d reckon! I’m so sorry that I haven’t blogged or did much on the digi/hybrid community. My camera with the ugly black-ish spot had to retire. I was attacked by mojo for weeks and I have been making cards and hybrid projects like mad! I didn’t even had the time to photograph most of my work! Did you know that I made like 15 cards in the past couple of weeks? I’ve been on a roll! Unfortunately that meant neglecting this little craft sanctuary of mine.

Well, I managed to take a few pics of my recent works through iPod though… The quality isn’t that great, but I feel like if I didn’t take pics of any of my work I would never start. So here goes, again apologies for the quality.greetings01jpg

Isn’t this lovely? This is a gift card holder in the shape of a purse! It’s so neat and chic! This is for my cousin, it’s her Christmas present from me.

Now this one is for a colleague of mine. Inside is a set of 10 blank cards (handstamped by yours truly, of course) that she can send in or write to for anyone! I love it, so neat!

I think November is the shopping month for me. I have never felt so ‘shopped-out’ in my life! Digital stashes, stamping stashes, crafting stashes, even clothes, bags and shoes… MAD! I will share my hauls in the next posts. Until then, have fun and happy Wednesday!
