Sweet New Baby

Good morning! It’s Thursday, which means it’s one step closer to weekend! I’ve got so many plans for the weekend, especially after all the renovation things that’s been going on the past two weeks I am so ready for a little fun time :)

Anyway, today I will show you a card I made for my best friend who just gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. She has been my best friend for 17 years and believe it or not, almost half of those times we are apart. We started our friendship during our first year of Junior high school, then she went on to a semi-military school on scholarship about 10 hours away from me (by train) while I stayed in Jakarta. When she came home for college, my Dad decided to send me to Australia for college. Three years later we were reunited for about 4 years until she decided to take on specialization course in Australia. There, she met the love of her life and settled down. But what’s so amazing is that we are still as connected and as close as we were 17 years ago if not closer. We talk almost everyday and sees each other once a year when she comes home for a couple weeks.

Agh, I get a little teary eyed whenever I tell people of our friendship… But let’s move on to my card before I get sappier ahahahahaha.

You’re The Best

Hello everyone! I am back with another post. I spent the whole day yesterday recuperating. After that renovation that we partly did ourselves, I scraped my knees and hurt every joint and bone in my body. I was just so tired and achy all over. I’m going back to work this morning and feels so much better :)

Anyway, without further ado… Here’s my card for today.

Click, click, click!

I’ve been really loving the look of corrugated cardboard thesedays. The local stationery store sells a variety pack of colorful corrugated cardboards and they work very well with dies. I used one with the card I made below.

So Happy For You

I just got back from renovating our house (not the one we live in… We bought another house 4 years ago) after 4 days non-stop of doing E V E R Y T H I N G.. Ahhhh, so knackered! But I can’t sleep. It’s so hot right now, like really humid and hot. Also… I am too tired to fall asleep. So I figure I’d do a blog post. I know.. It’s one of those weird days lol.

Here’s a card I made without colored image, that is rare if you know me!
