Boy Card

I rarely do cards for boys… Probably because I’m such a girlie girl and have like gazillion girly kits and because I just don’t have the stamps for boy cards hehe. But I made one that I think is suitable for boys/men using a pretty versatile stamp.

Anyway, you remember what I wrote about finding the digital version of paper lines? Well guess what, Zoe Pearn just released her digi line of Alphabet Soup in line with the launch in CHA this summer! It’s sooooooooooooo delish! I’ve got them already and am making a bunch of stuff with it! I mean, it would be a waste to just do one thing with this line! Look at these adorable goodness:

Digi Subtitute

What I love so much about digital kits is that how varied they are. In the digi world, we have hundreds of new digi kits out in a single week alone, free or not. While in the paper world, they have a kit out probably 4 times a year?! That’s why I love digi… It’s cheaper and have lots of varieties to choose from. I fall in love with paper kits time and time again though, and when I can’t find the exact copy in digi form (e.g. you can get Mindy Teraswa’s and Zoe Pearn’s MME kits in their digi store), I look for those that would be close enough like the paper kit. Such as this one from October Afternoon:

Paper Pad Cover 2

I especially LOVE these papers from this line:

Thrift Shop 507 - PP Needs Paint (front) - Vintage Floral v6 distress  Thrift Shop 503 - PP NAME (back) - Criss Cross Flowers v7 distress

That is why when Jen Allyson had her entire Notions  line on sale last weekend I had to get this kit:

Notions Pink & Co.

notions-pink-co-digital-scrapbooking-papers

How yummy is that?! It was on sale for 25% so I also got this paper pack, also from her Notions line.

Notions Blue & Co.

And here is a card I made with this amazing paper pack:

Paper Play Challenge Week 29 and Color Inspiration #133

I am in love with this challenge… It’s a color combo challenge from Paper Play Challenge. The combo is: blue+cream+color of choice. Turns out this combo also coordinates with Color Inspiration #133 from Stamping 411. I immediately created a card for those two challenges. Hope you’ll like it :)

I’m sorry for the bad quality of image… I don’t know what’s wrong with my G5 (hubby has taken the D200 with him to work) that it left this ugly dark spot in the image. Gah... But at least I didn’t procrastinate to photograph the cards :D

Enjoy your day!

Colour Q Challenge #42 and My Time To Craft Challenge #100

Here’s my entry for Color Q’s #42  and My Time To Craft Challenge #100. I love the colors and it fits a kit I haven’t used from Scrapkitchen. I’m quite happy with the result :)

Blue Birdy Card

Hello all! I hope you’re having a great Friday! (it is in my neck of the woods, heehee) Here is a card I made using my new TADA paper pack. I fell in love with the birds pattern instantly when I first saw it!

As I mentioned yesterday, I am a horrible hoarder and I made a vow to use some of the stash I have purchased at least once a week. Not only I’m a hoarder, I usually use my digital stash once only, which is really uneconomical. heehee. Speaking of, here are some of my recent purchase on Sweet Shoppe Designs’ 4th of July Sale.

I Need A Stamping Buddy

I really do… You see I’m a horrible hoarder and I realize that I need to use my stash more. And somehow I think having a stamping buddy would help. You know someone who is stamp enthusiast like me, who can give me insights and ideas to use my stash. I think if I have one I can also do the same to my stamping buddy. Anybody interested?

Anyway, I’m so happy today because finally my new stamps arrived! YAY! (see, I’m hoarding again there heehee) I am also a Hero Arts addict, so most of my stuff is from Hero Arts. Here’s what’s in the mail today:

CG140

Poppy Background (CG140), I’ve always been fascinated by the crafts and cards made with this stamp. Always needed wanted one, so alas, when it’s on sale on my fave ebay shop… I gotta have it! I got a great deal for it too! :D

CL446

Ohhh and this one, Sew Artsy (CL446), is one of the new stamps on Hero Arts’ Arts and Crafts Summer 2010 Collection. It’s versatile and I’m going to pair it with a couple of paper packs I got last week when Design House Digital is having new release sale.

I can just see those papers being used in lovely cards :)

Anyway, here’s a couple of more cards for your enjoyment today.

Patterned Paper Lover

Yes, you would have guessed it. I have a really really soft mushy spot when it comes to patterned papers.. And recently Tracy Ann Digital Art relisted a deal that was on a couple of months ago, it was getting 7 packs of patterned papers of our choice for a little over 2 bucks each! Yeah that reaaaalllyyy hit that soft spot heehee.

Anyway, it didn’t take long for me to create with it. Here’s what I came up with.

Monster-ous Day!

Oh yeah… I’m having a major PMS thing hehe, so what could be better than to tuck myself inside my blanket and then watch movies/TV series. Well that’s what I did, at least until about 5 PM when I managed to photograph my recent works hehe.

Today I finally gotten myself the digi papers version of Sweet Summertime in Jessica Sprague’s store. They got their usual One Buck Wednesday (and I usually grabbed Crystal Wilkerson’s paper packs, I am her BIG fan), but then Jessica offered a 5 Dollars off deal today in the newsletter and her blog and I just couldn’t pass it up! I see a lot of cards made from this sweet paper pack and of course I want need one too ;) Here’s what I got today:
