Bloom Where You Are Planted

Hi everyone! I just got back home and I am in need of a good massage. I called my usual masseuse and the spa said she’s booked tonight and will only be available after 9 PM. So I’m gonna try and color an image or two before she comes. In the meantime, here’s a new card I made for The Rubber Buggy.

Lovey-Dovey Tag

I can’t believe it’s Monday again! I live for weekends because we usually have something fun to do. I usually try to craft during the weekdays and then let loose and spend some time with my family during the weekend. Yesterday the meeting was so great, we had cardmaking contest sponsored by one of the largest scrapbook stores in Indonesia and also a storewide discount just for the attendees. So fun! The downside was I live at the other end of the city so that was almost more than 2 hours drive away from my place. Thank goodness my good friend Mel was driving us there (pssstt, I can’t drive!).

Anyways, since the month is ending, I thought I’d pop in this tag on my blog to celebrate the month of love. I mean, who can resist pink and more pink? Certainly not me! ;)

Celebrate Tag

It’s Monday again! This time eventhough my body is a bit sore from all the exciting activities I did with my nieces all through the weekend, I feel really rejuvenated! We had awesome time and amazing meals. My father even initiated another trip together in the short future, this time with the whole family (last weekend my first brother couldn’t make it). I am so looking forward to that!

Anyway, I am here to show you a new tag I made for The Rubber Buggy. I finally caught the bug and got the trendy Prima Dolls. I made a series of tags and this is one of them. I have fallen in love with these stamps. They are so versatile!

Afternoon Tea Tilda Criss-Cross Card

Happy Monday everyone! It was a really good weekend for me. I got to catch up with my close friend, Katya and her sister who is visiting from Ukraine, Tatyana. We had a lovely lunch then I took her to the most amazing Martabak joint in Jakarta (she is craaaaazzzzyyy about martabak! Both sweet and savory!). Me and Katya went waaaay waaaay back before she started modeling. I remember helping her compile photos for her portfolio (and using my MIL’s backyard to take her photos) and introducing her to some of my acquaintances in the magazine industry. She is now one of the top models in Jakarta and she is so famous, but when we’re together she is still the same Katya I know back then. Funny, smart, gorgeous, and humble.

Anyway, I am here to share a card I made for The Rubber Buggy. This is a criss-cross card with Paris and tea party in mind. I love the gorgeous peachy color here. It’s nice taking a break from pink and red colors ;)

Friend To Friend

Happy Monday everyone! It’s been a pretty eventful weekend what with Chinese New Year and all. We went to see the lion dance aka Barongsai in one of the malls in our area. It was lovely and I love it so much. I love observing all the different holidays here. During Chinese New Year a lot of my neighbors have parties and gatherings, when they do they usually end the night with festive fireworks. So so fun!

Anyway, I’m here to show you a card I made for The Rubber Buggy today. It’s one of my favorites!

Chalkboard Card

Hey all! I am here to share you my DT card for The Rubber Buggy today. I am loving the Kaisercraft stamps lately, it’s so perfect for the trendy subway art and chalkboard techniques. So for this card I made, I used the chalkboard technique. It’s so fun and cool.
