Hello, Beautiful!

Hello everyone! Hope you're doing well. Things has been great on my end. I have had packages arriving at my door almost daily after a slew of sales going on a month or so ago. And I've also revived my YouTube channel. I was so upset when my webcam didn't work the other day after I purposely bought a laptop to work with it. So I bought another one and started filming again. I am still tweaking and testing things for better video quality, so bare with me ok? ;)

Today I will share with you a summery card that I have had for a while but forgot to take a photo of. I love the colors here and how cute she is with the hat.

I Miss You! I Really Do!

Hello, hello! It's been a hot minute hasn't it?! I was not well around 2 weeks ago. I was experiencing a bad GERD symptoms and this happens once or twice a year eventhough I kept my diet pretty balanced. I guess it may be related to stress, but I am better now. This usually lasts around 1-2 weeks. The last time it went on for 2 weeks was when I was completely stressed about hosting a quarterly regional meeting. I'm not too sure what my stress cause this time, but I am glad it was over! hehe.

Anyways, one of the things that helped me a lot of course is crafting. I am showing you a rather simple card I made the other day. I've been seeing a lot of fall-themed cards and I felt inspired to make one with muted jewel tones.

Happy Purr-thday!

I have colored the image on this card for over a year until I found the perfect excuse to use it. My niece has adopted a tabby cat just like the one I colored here and her birthday is coming up in a couple of months. So I decided to make her this cute 6 x 6 inch birthday card.

Thanks A Bunch

I have been scrolling almost endlessly on Netflix to watch a new TV show or movie because it seems I've watched everything (which is not true hehe). I ended up watching medieval themed shows such as Cursed and The Last Kingdom. I am happy that Disney+ Hotstar has launched in Indonesia and I've signed up almost 2 weeks ago. Their content is very good, it's like my distraction from when I'm bored of Netflix haha.

Anyways, here's a card with semi-muted colors with a princess image, just like those medieval shows I've been watching lol.

It's Been A While

I don't normally gravitate towards muted colors, but with this retro steampunk-ish image, I think it would be perfect combined with such colors. The kit here (which I have to admit I forgot the name) is something I've had for years but haven't gotten round to using yet. It turned out quite nice isn't it?

Hello There!

Have you been adjusting your card themes with the situation thesedays? I have been creating cards with sentiments that go like 'miss you' or 'miss your face'. This one is also a card for a friend I haven't seen in a while. I love sending people little surprises like this. Usually they're very surprised because it had been years since they get an actual/physical card.

Sip Sip, Hooray!

I know the coffee-themed week was last week, but I have this card that imagined as a boba-themed card. I actually wanted to draw some brown circles as boba on the cup, but I'm afraid to ruin it so I left it as is.

Boba has been so on trend here lately. You can find the cheapest (like $1) ones to pricey ones (like $7) all around the town here. Recently due to the lockdown they're even selling in by the litres so that people can enjoy it at home, shared with their family. Love it!

I know that The Greeting Farm has come out with the real boba-inspired stamp and I've bought it, I just haven't gotten the time to color it. Hopefully soon and I will also pair it with the same kit as this one as it looks soooo cute!

We're The Perfect Blend

Who here loves those limited-edition frappes? Some of my friends went crazy when Starbucks had the limited edition Cherry Blossom Frappuccino, it looked so appealing with its pastel pink color and whipped cream on top. Some of my friends also have their secret blends that they requested to the barista. I'm not as hip lol. I always go for Caramel Macchiato Frappuccino.

This card is for those who loves those colorful and yummy drinks on their fave coffee joints.

You're The Coffee To My Cup

I have been loving making these yummy yummy cards. The colors are so pretty and the images are so cute! I used to make 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 inch square cards, but now I love 6 x 6 inch square cards more because I have more freedom in using my papers and dies.

I love this card so much. She looks so cute and combined with those bright colors, it looks so adorable. I am picturing her with her latte on the way to meet her friends and go do something fun like watching a movie or shopping.

Coffee Date Soon? Yes, Please! ;)

I'm not one to be hanging out in a coffee shop because I think most of the time it's pretty crowded and I can't chat comfortably with my friends, but at the moment I miss my friends and our coffee chats. We usually buy our fave coffee in the mall or in the little shop all around the city (our fave is Kopi Kenangan, so delicious!), then we would just hang around in a bench or stroll around while chatting. Oh how I miss those coffee dates!

This card is for exactly those people who miss their coffee dates with their friends/family. This one might go to one of my friends whom I haven't seen in months.

Sending You A Cup of Love

There are a couple of stamp image themes that I can't resist. Coffee and cakes/cupcakes. I don't know why. Well.. probably because I love those two things in real life. Hehe. I also collect digital papers/kits with those same themes so I can create with those images. I love coloring them too, picturing them strutting their coffee drinks in the mall while chatting and window shopping with their friends. How fun!

Happiness Is a Cup of Coffee With a Good Friend

Hey, it's Monday again! And I think I am going to continue my week-long themed posts. This week will be about coffee/frappe/boba. Do you like those drinks? I am aaaaalll for coffee, frappe and boba. They're all huge here, especially bubble tea or famously known as boba drinks.

So today I am sharing the first card, a cute coffee-themed card with this hipster image. I love the color combo here.

May All Your Wishes Come True

You know what makes me happy? Birthday kits! I love images of balloons, presents, cupcakes and confetti. I love it even more when the color palette includes pink and purples. Just so cute! Continuing my series of birthday cards, here is another one using the tall Anya image from The Greeting Farm. I had so much fun dusting this back up and creating this cute card. I hope you like it as much as I do.

It's Your Birthday, Make A Wish!

I've had these series of big images by The Greeting Farm for a long time now. They used to be so popular, but now I think the trend has shifted to smaller images (which I personally not really liking, but still buys lol). I hope they're going to make a comeback now that slimline cards are trendy. They're very fun to color and when put in a bigger card looks so cute.

Here's A Birthday Card For You!

Carrying on the birthday card theme, here is one that is simple but also cute. I just realized a few months ago that I don't make many birthday cards. I try to do the sentiment on a card that would relate to the image and yeah it can be a birthday card also, but it's not a straightforward birthday card you know? So I'm using this image and the papers are also very apparent that it's a birthday theme.

Happy Birthday!

It's September!!! How can it be September? Oh my gosh... This month marks my sixth month of working from home. My company has set us to work from home until the end of this month. I feel a little bit mellow about that actually. I have been loving my time working from home as I feel a lot more relaxed and in control of my time (no commute especially). I don't know how I can go from here to going back to the office as I used to hehe.

Anyway, today I am sharing another birthday card with you. In fact, this whole week I will try to share birthday cards with you. I love making them and they get sent out quite a lot because almost every week I know someone having a birthday.

For You Birthday Card

I have a confession to make. I am very intrigued by European-style (more like, British-style) cardmaking, where they make big cards. I think their favorite card sizes are 5 x 7 inch, 6 x 6 inch and (European) A5 (5.8 x 8.3 inch) size. Big right? When one of my friends went to Amsterdam earlier this year, I asked her if I can get some thing sent to her hotel to then bring back to Jakarta. She said yes and so I bought a few dies from Craft Stash. Some of them are A5 nesting dies and also recently I bought 5x7 dies.

This is my first 5x7 card that uses a stamp. I have mixed feelings about it because I think the papers look too big, but overall I like the size. I will try to do more bigger sized cards in the future for sure.

Hugs 5 x 7 Inch Arrow Fold Card

I love watching tutorials on YouTube. It feels like half of my crafting days are spent watching videos rather than making anything lol. Today I am showing you a card that I made following a tutorial from Sam Calcott. I am a huge fan of her and love her tutorials as they are easy and very impressive. I don't know where she gets her ideas and skill to put ideas to actual measurements, but I will continue to try her tutorials for my next projects.

This card is made using this tutorial.

Retro Rockabilly Girl: You're So Cute

We come to the final image of that cute stamp set I've been using the past few days. I'm so proud of myself. I actually have a looooott of new stamps that I (keep) purchasing, so if you see me posting older stamps is because I promise myself to catch up on using my older stash before moving to new ones. As for shopping, well that's another case haha.

Retro Rockabilly Girl: You Wow Me Card

Hullo! I am back with my third card of the series. I love coloring these retro girls. They look cute and fierce at the same time. Such cute images. Today's card is a lot simpler and the photo really doesn't do it justice, but in real life it's cute and all the colors go together. I am still getting used to my new light setting and might be looking for a different set up in the near future because sometimes when I take photos using this lighting (on this one I used a ringlight) the colors can be washed out.

Retro Rockabilly Girl: Hello Card

Do you have a system of either coloring your images or making a card? I actually mass-color my images, imagining what I want to coordinate it with (in terms of papers or kits), then mass-create them later one. Usually I would color up to 20 images, then create cards with it a week or two later, sometimes even longer. The risk is I forget which paper packs or kits that I want to use with which image. This image below is one of those images that I forgot which papers I want to pair it with. After I finished the card I just remembered the correct kit. I now have a system of remembering which kit/papers to pair my images with, I just stick a post-it note on the image to remind me. Hehe.

Retro Rockabilly Girl: Thank You Card

Hello! How is your weekend everyone? I hope you all had a restful and fun weekend. Can you believe it's almost the end of August? Chilly season is upon you in the southern hemisphere. We are here still enjoying our tropical weather and well... waiting for the rainy season later on towards the end of the year.

I'm going to star this week with gorgeous retro card I made with a set of rockabilly images from CC Designs. I love this style, I don't think I have them from other stamp companies.

With Love Card

I love Disneyland and Disneyworld. I don't care how old I am, when I go there it makes me feel so happy and giddy like I was 9 again (which was the first time I went there in Anaheim). I also love Disney characters, they are so adorable! When this Minnie-inspired character came out by The Greeting Farm, I jumped on the chance of getting one. It was one of the stamps in the mystery box package that Greeting Farm sold last year and I completely missed it, so when it was available again I immediately bought it.

Picnic Boxes and Paper Purse

It's another public holiday today! It's a great time to be catching up on my crafting today. I hope you are all having a relaxing time also, whether you're having a public holiday or not.

Today is Islamic New Year holiday in Indonesia. We don't necessarily celebrate it festively, as we usually have big celebrations on Eid Al Fitr and Eid Al Adha. We usually have family gatherings (and in my family almost 100 and one time even close to 200 people came over to my place throughout the day!) and we would stuff our faces with yummy dishes.

Anyway, today I am sharing two cute picnic boxes and a paper purse. These are made using dies designed by Nicole Silhouette that are sold at Aliexpress. I am a huge fan of her dies as they're pretty large and quite affordable.

Miss Your Hugs

I have enjoyed making cards for my friends lately. I try to choose sentiments that would fit the current situation like on this card. I usually just send my card using a courier here, it's cheap and they pick up your package/mail at your house. I think I haven't been to the post office in months! I still have to mail my cards the traditional way when it comes to sending my cards/packages abroad though.

Congrats!

It was Indonesia's Independence Day yesterday. It was nice to celebrate it at home, just like we used to. This week is full of public holiday actually so work is a bit lax. My plan for all these "down time" is to cook or bake and munch the day away. Hehe.

I am sharing a cute Summer card today. She looks like she's ready to strut around the beach right? I love these yummy colors, it's so cheerful!

Big Summer Hugs To You!

It's well into August but I'm still going to keep going with creating Summer-y cards! I live in a tropical country, so I have the perfect excuse hahaha.

This is a 5.5 x 5.5 inches card and I used the sentiment stamp and die combo from Lawn Fawn that I bought probably almost 3 years ago but just used it now. It looks so cute right? I am going to use it more and probably even get more of these style of stamp and die combos.

Thinking of You

I can't believe it's Friday again! Sometimes time goes so fast when you're working from home, but also when there are many things that you need to get done, time goes very slow hehe. Anyway, I am sharing another card with a cute image using a mask. It's one of the first images I get from The Greeting Farm with the pandemic and/or quarantine theme. This was a limited-edition free digital stamp that was offered a couple of months ago. I printed it on my Xpress-It paper using my Epson L1800 printer. It turned out nice because my markers were blending very well and the ink didn't bleed at all.

Hello, Hey, Hi!

Masks are very popular thesedays in Indonesia. In the beginning of the pandemic there was a scarcity of masks, particularly the medical one-time use masks. The government had mandated us to use the mask in public and that fabric masks are more than sufficient to ward off the droplets to prevent transmission. From then on there has been sooooo many masks sold here. From cheap ones to ornate expensive ones. I love buying them too because I can match them to my clothes. So here is a card that was inspired by those fabric masks sold all around the country.

Hey, You!

Hey, you! Yes, you! I hope things are well with you. It's again one of those weeks where there are so many meetings and ad-hoc discussions. It's very exciting though. I am pretty happy with my work and very grateful that I am still employed. I try to craft almost daily now after work, but sometimes my back hurts and I get pretty tense after all day working so I would do just small things like die cutting.

Anyhow, here's another Summer card I made. Hope you like it :)

Enjoy Summer Card

Summer is full on in my neck of the woods! Gosh, I have been blasting the AC the past week or so and it's still pretty hot. The downside is, mosquitoes are also making a comeback and disturbing my sleep! Thank goodness I'm still at home though, so I get to just lie down in my room for a little bit if my work room gets a little hot (it's a bit more exposed to the heat because it has a semi-open roof).

Anyway, here's a card to sort of celebrate this very popular season. It's such a different Summer this year, isn't it? I really miss going to the beach. I hope next year or even sooner I can travel freely again.

Mermaid Week Day 7: Sending You Oceans of Joy Card

It's the last day of Mermaid Week! I can't believe I have uploaded all 7 videos over on my Youtube channel. I hope you had the chance to take a peek. You can also see the video embedded on this post below. I have been so busy taking photos of my cards and projects both yesterday and today. I think I have almost 30 (!!!) new cards and projects. Can't wait to show it all to you here and around the communities at Facebook. In the mean time, here is the last card for the week.

Mermaid Week Day 5: Let's Celebrate

It's Friday, finally! Do you have plans for the weekend? I am just going to snooze, catch up on my fave crafty Youtube channels and of course, getting crafty. I actually have a lot of cards and projects to photograph so I might do that too over the weekend.

Anyway, here's the fifth card for my Mermaid Week on Youtube. I love the papers here. I always have an affinity for underwater and beach scene patterns.

Mermaid Week Day 6: Let's Shell-Ebrate Shaker Card

Yay! It's finally weekend! This week has been quite intense for me at work. We're working on a lot of improvements and developments, so a lot of sync-ups and meetings went on this week. There are plenty as well next week, but this week was a lot more and longer. I am so happy to finally clocked out yesterday, eventhough I was still working from home.

Here is my sixth card. Just 1 more card to show you tomorrow for my Mermaid Week theme over at my Youtube channel. If you have any theme in mind for me to try out, let me know!

Mermaid Week Day 4: Let's Shell-ebrate

It's now almost weekend and more than midway on Mermaid Week over on my YouTube channel. This one is another shaker card. I love the one because the shape is quite unusual. I used a label die from Gina Marie Designs as a base and frame of my shaker. It turned out very cute. I used seed beads here, it kinda looks like bubbles. I also colored the hair blue, something I rarely do. Overall it was a fun card to make and challenged me to do something I rarely do or even never done before.

Mermaid Week Day 3: Best Wishes Card

Here is my third card for the Mermaid Week series over on my Youtube channel. This was a bright one I made using the maaaannyy many mermaid stamps I got from The Greeting Farm. This one was from one of their limited edition kits. I think I almost always buy their big kits. Perhaps only 1 or 2 that I don't own because the style didn't appeal to me. But the rest are always so adorable and a bang for my buck. To be honest I like the rubber stamps more than their clear stamps kit, because it stamps better. But nowadays I rub the clear stamps on my hands until it's not as tacky anymore then I inked them. I get much better results that way, although rubber stamps create crisper impression.

Mermaid Week Day 2: Thanks Card

Hey hey hey! It's mermaid week day 2 and today I am featuring a shaker card. I love making shaker cards because they are fun and can be filled with all kinds of sequins and beads. I was obsessed with buying sequins last year. I think I have almost all colors of the rainbows, pastel to bold, clear and opaque. I love them all!

Mermaid Week Day 1: Thinking of You

Hello everyone! Have you visisted my Youtube channel yet? I have had a channel for over 6 years but I haven't been very active. So I decided to film a few videos to force myself to get back in the game. It's pretty fun filming the videos, but sometimes editing takes a lot of time because I always wanted to zhuzh it up a notch hehe.

So here's an attempt for me to post a themed projects for a week, be it for a few days in that week or every day of the week. This week is Mermaid Week. Gosh, I have a ton of mermaid stamps! Especially from The Greeting Farm. I think it's such a popular image that a lot of stamp companies produce series of them.

Mermaid Diamond Easel Fold Card

I made another card following Sam Calcott's tutorial! It is called Diamond Easel Fold Card. It is such a fun and interactive card. I used (shocking! lol) a mermaid image from The Greeting Farm. I really love the purple tones here. I used to have my room painted purple when I was in high school. It used to be my fave color. Now I love navy and pink. Still whenever I see a kit with purple color palette, I'd snag it right away hehe.

Floral Treat Bags

I have been buying some new dies over at Aliexpress designed by Nicole Silhouette. They are all original designs and quite affordable. I feel like the prices went up quite a bit nowadays at Aliexpress, but her dies are very much worth it. So pretty! For my supplies (beads, gems, ribbons, etc.) I try to buy from Shopee as they're cheaper and delivered sooooo much faster (7-10 days!!) because they have their own transport/logistics structure.

Here is an adorable treat bag I made using Echo Park's Just Be You digital collection and the Purse Bag Die.

Cheers To You

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas (in July)! It's been going around every July for years, where crafters begin their Christmas crafting. I am not ready to do full-blown Christmas crafting yet, but I did make this card to participate. I have missed coloring Gorjuss stamps. I used to have this sort of obsession with them as they reminded me of my best friend's drawing. I bought their mini ones and their size didn't appeal as much to me. They're very pretty, but I'm too scared to color smaller images hehe.

Hello Beautiful

Happy 4th of July for my American friends! I always see how festive and wonderful the Independence Day celebrations there, I wonder how it is now with the pandemic going on. My best friend lives in Washington and is currently doing her Master's Degree and internship online. I imagine it must be hard for her. She used to send me pics of the celebrations where she would go on a barbecue party and then went to see the fireworks. I hope things will be better soon.

A Toast For You Card

The other day I saw one of my friends having a wine party with her girl friends over at Google Hangout. I thought it was such a brilliant idea. I started having some get-together with my old friends via Zoom and Google Hangout. I really loved it because I didn't have to pay a dime, didn't need to be stuck in traffic on the way to wherever the meetup was, and I get to wear whatever I want.

This card is an homage to those meetings. This is a card that will be sent to my good friend who loves her wine time during lockdown with her virtual friends.
