Loaded Book Happy Mail

Hello hello!

It's a couple of days after Eid and the spirits are high. Quite a bittersweet moment spending Eid in quarantine. We had family gathering using Zoom and Google Hangout. It was very different indeed, but still very heartwarming. We said our thanks to each other and wished that we can see each other soon. It's a pretty short holiday too, since my company revoked our long Eid holiday so that it will be replaced for Christmas. I liked this idea because with us being quarantined, the extra days off won't be something that we can really make use of.

Well, today I am sharing a happy mail project with you all. I love this! It's a loaded book, filled with handmade embellishments. This is using Maggie Holmes' Confetti collection from Crate Paper.

Lots Of Love Card

Spring fever is full on! Eventhough most of us are spending it indoors this year, I've seen so many Spring projects around the internet still. I love it. It means we're pretty positive and still keeping our spirits high. I managed to craft quite a bit after work and during the weekends. Nothing much has changed actually, but minus the long commute daily, so I get to craft more.

Here's another Spring card share. Hope you like it.

You Are Loved A Lot Card

If you ask me what my favorite season is, I would say Spring. I love it because it's cool and the flowers are blooming marvelously. Unfortunately we only have 2 seasons here in Indonesia, dry and rainy (wet) season. But if I go to Puncak, which is the highland near Jakarta, the weather is pretty similar to springtime abroad.

This card just screams Spring for me. The stamp set's theme is flower (you can see her dress' shape) and the colors I used here are very springy.

You Get Better With Age

How are you all? I hope you're doing well and keeping healthy wherever you are. We are in the midst of Ramadan and this year is very different as you might imagine. It's both good and bad. Good because I don't feel very hungry or thirsty quite a lot as I am working from home, but bad because I couldn't meet my friends and family. We usually go for iftar in our fave restaurant or at home together, but it's now just at home with whatever we cook or order in.

Anyways, I would like to share this 6x6 card I made using this adorable stamp from The Greeting Farm. I used a word die combined with a stamp set. I like it a lot!

You Are The Best

If you're as old as I am (LOL) then you might be familiar with animated series called Daria that was on MTV around late 90s to early 2000s. She was such a quirky character and has this distinctive style with her black-rimmed round glasses. The stamp set from The Greeting Farm that I used on the card below reminds me of her so much! Although the hair is slightly different, the smirk is pretty similar.

I used light colors on this card and thought it balanced her personality very well. Do you like this style of card?

I Thank My Lucky Stars 6 x 6 Pop Up Slider Card

I have been wanting to try out making bigger slider cards for a while now. I made one years ago and it wasn't very good, but the one I created by following Sam Calcott's tute turned out quite nice. It's pretty simple, but I successfully made it, so I'm quite happy with the result.

You can try making it yourself by following the tutorial here.

You're Amazing Stylish Card

Hullo!

As we go deeper and deeper into lockdown weeks, I miss going out and dressing up. I don't go out often, but I do sorta dress up for work or a quick weekend outings. I feel that my clothes are getting dusty and rather tight fitting now that I am working from home and snacking round-the-clock lol. So here I am dusting one of my older stamps from The Greeting Farm. She looks so stylish and I might not be able to pull this look off, but I love the colors and style on her. The pic doesn't do it justice, but the black background is actually a shimmer paper, making this card as classy as the image ;)

Big Loaded Envelope

Hey hey!

I have been really enjoying making happy mail this past year or so. Sadly I don't have a penpal to swap with. I guess I'm shy to ask around or to post in communities to show my craft. Hopefully soon I'll be able to do so.

I have made a few mini loaded envelopes before, but this is my very first large one. I enjoyed it thoroughly and may have overstuffed it. LOL. This is featuring Maggie Holmes' Bloom collection.

Rainbow Faeries Card

Hello hello everyone!

It's been a while hasn't it? I have missed blogging so much! A lot has happened over the course of a couple of years. I've traveled quite a bit, changed jobs twice and adopted a new cat. I think there are a lot more things that happened but those were the highlights. One thing that hasn't changed is the fact that I am still crafting. Just haven't been active here or in any communities. But I'm planning to change that. I am trying to be active again as I am quite proud of my creations and it gives me a mood boost when I post them here.

Here are a couple of cards that I made to re"launch" my crafty journey this year. It's a couple of cards featuring rainbow theme and faeries. I have stamped the images for years but just gotten round to making cards with them now. Hope you like them :)
