Loves Rubberstamps Challenge 92 - Washi Tape or Faux Washi Tape

Happy birthday! Wait, what? Whose? MINE!!!! Hehehehe. Yes, today is my birthday and so far it’s been nice. I got a nice surprise during midnight, my fave blueberry cheesecake complete with candles and serenade. I love it! I refused to celebrate tonight because the weather has been bad again, so me and my family would have a small dinner at home tonight and later during the weekend I’ll have a fancy lunch at my fave Japanese restaurant with the extended family. Keeping my fingers crossed so that the weather will finally be tame on Sunday!

Anyhoo, since it’s Tuesday today, it means there’s a new challenge over at Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog. The theme this week is washi or faux washi. To tell you the truth I only have 4 washi tapes because I don’t really know what to do with them. But when I made this card, they add a cool touch! Can you see it on my card?

Lovey-Dovey Tag

I can’t believe it’s Monday again! I live for weekends because we usually have something fun to do. I usually try to craft during the weekdays and then let loose and spend some time with my family during the weekend. Yesterday the meeting was so great, we had cardmaking contest sponsored by one of the largest scrapbook stores in Indonesia and also a storewide discount just for the attendees. So fun! The downside was I live at the other end of the city so that was almost more than 2 hours drive away from my place. Thank goodness my good friend Mel was driving us there (pssstt, I can’t drive!).

Anyways, since the month is ending, I thought I’d pop in this tag on my blog to celebrate the month of love. I mean, who can resist pink and more pink? Certainly not me! ;)

Sunday Blog Hop with Loves Rubberstamps! – Lovely Gable Box

Happy Sunday, all! It’s been a week of gloomy weather all around here, so I’m hoping it’ll be sunnier today. I have been coloring a lot this past week, so my plan starting today and for the next week is to turn those images into cards and other 3d items (bags/boxes). This year my resolution is to make cards and projects way ahead and if I’m not miscounting, I am all done for my DT duty cards for the next 4 weeks. ;)

I am meeting up with a a lot of my friends for a cardmaker’s community gathering in BSD today. It’s a big thing we do every 4-6 months. I know it’ll be amazing as always!

Today I don’t have a card to show you, but a gable box! I have been wanting to make some packaging like bags and boxes but always have to find an occasion to make it, otherwise I know it’ll be hard to store.

Loves Rubberstamps Challenge 91 - Use A Funny Sentiment

Happy Tuesday everyone!  I hope you’re having a great day. I have been catching up on House of Cards the past few days. I’m a TV show junkie, so when it’s TV shows ‘dry season’ I had to get my fix anywhere I can find. So I start watching shows that I had never seen before or that I’d never been interested before and House of Cards was one of them. My oh my, I am addicted!

Speaking of addiction, as you know I am addicted to sentiment stamps, so when this week’s Love Rubberstamps Challenge came up I was excited! I have a lot of puns and fun sentiments, but this one seems so fitting.

Celebrate Tag

It’s Monday again! This time eventhough my body is a bit sore from all the exciting activities I did with my nieces all through the weekend, I feel really rejuvenated! We had awesome time and amazing meals. My father even initiated another trip together in the short future, this time with the whole family (last weekend my first brother couldn’t make it). I am so looking forward to that!

Anyway, I am here to show you a new tag I made for The Rubber Buggy. I finally caught the bug and got the trendy Prima Dolls. I made a series of tags and this is one of them. I have fallen in love with these stamps. They are so versatile!

Sunday Blog Hop with Loves Rubberstamps! – Yeehaw Valentine!

Hey all! When this post goes live I’m probably still sight-seeing or enjoying an afternoon tea with my extended family in Puncak. We are celebrating my Mom’s birthday by having a weekend getaway there. I am so excited!

Anyhooo, it’s Sunday, so it’s time for another blog hop! Here’s my card for today, I know this is kind of late as this is a Valentine’s Day card, but it is super cute and the colors are not the typical Valentine’s Day colors. I hope you like it, this is a double display card.

Happy Valentine’s Day!!

Happy Valentine’s Day!!!! Yep it’s THE most wonderful holiday of the year, at least for me. I am easily drawn to all things red, pink and hearts hahaha. I’m such a sucker for lovey dovey things. I am soooo happy that most of my friends whom I sent happy mails to got the package. I know one who hasn’t received hers yet due to the recent ash storm that hits nearby area. Hopefully she’ll get it soon.

Anyway, here’s one card that is yet to be delivered. It was supposed to be picked up yesterday, but she messaged me and told me she couldn’t make it so will have to give it to her when I see her next weekend. She knows she’s getting this, so I hope she’ll like it when it’s in her hands later. This is a tealight box card.

Happy {Love} Mail!

Hey hey hey! It’s Thursday and it’s almost Valentine’s Day! I stayed up quite late last night to package some Valentine’s Day cards for my crafty friends in Indonesia. I didn’t tell most of them that I was going to send them a little somethin’ somethin’, so I hope their day would be delighted tomorrow ;)

For today, I want to show you two cards that I have sent of to my friends. I used Stella from The Greeting Farm, one of my treasured TGF stamps since it’s rare and retired. She is just perfect for Valentine’s Day happy mail, dontcha think?

I Love You, Gorjuss!

Heyooo! After a bright and sunny day yesterday, today it’s continuing to be a bit gloomy. So what better what than to make a card that coordinates with the weather, right? hehe.

This is actually a Valentine’s Day card. I am trying to use up all my older stash here. The papers are digital paper pack I bought about a year or so ago (probably even longer, lol) and that blue/green fiber.. that’s been in my stash for 12 YEARS! Yep, I got that back when I was in college in Melbourne. Hahaha. Love it!

Loves Rubberstamps Challenge 90 - Paper Piecing

Hello everyone! How are you today? It’s been lovely outside today. One of the few days where I can see the sun but the weather is still pretty mild. So it’s a perfect day to craft. Oh what the heck, everyday is the perfect day to craft! Haha.

It’s Tuesday and there’s a new challenge over at Loves Rubberstamps. This week the theme is “Paper Piecing” and I’ve used one of the adorable images from our sponsor, The Paper Shelter. I used the pre-colored image then paper-pieced the dress. This is a paper bag that I made using the awesome Gift Bag Punch Board.

Afternoon Tea Tilda Criss-Cross Card

Happy Monday everyone! It was a really good weekend for me. I got to catch up with my close friend, Katya and her sister who is visiting from Ukraine, Tatyana. We had a lovely lunch then I took her to the most amazing Martabak joint in Jakarta (she is craaaaazzzzyyy about martabak! Both sweet and savory!). Me and Katya went waaaay waaaay back before she started modeling. I remember helping her compile photos for her portfolio (and using my MIL’s backyard to take her photos) and introducing her to some of my acquaintances in the magazine industry. She is now one of the top models in Jakarta and she is so famous, but when we’re together she is still the same Katya I know back then. Funny, smart, gorgeous, and humble.

Anyway, I am here to share a card I made for The Rubber Buggy. This is a criss-cross card with Paris and tea party in mind. I love the gorgeous peachy color here. It’s nice taking a break from pink and red colors ;)

Paperbag Card

Hello everyone! It’s a really nice morning today. For once it has been dry hahaha. Hopefully this lasts all weekend long. We’re pretty sick of rain since it meant pools of water in front of our house. Ugh, this year is the worst!

Anywhoooo… I am here to show you a card I made. This is a paperbag card and I had lots of fun making it. This is new to me and made me even ordered some new white paperbags, though of course, those haven’t been used yet lol.

Red+Pink Valentine

Hey all! I can’t believe it’s already Wednesday again. I have been having fun making few Valentine’s Day cards lately and if you noticed, I rarely use the usual pink and red color combo. Well, after a few cards I finally gave in and made this adorable card with those Valentine’s Day color combo, red and pink. I love it so much!

Loves Rubberstamps Challenge 89–ANYTHING GOES (Merry & Bright)

Hello all! How is your day? It’s been a bit up and down for me because the height of water in front of our house is rising again :( It isn’t as high as the last time but I get paranoid whenever this happens. I don’t want it to progress into a full-blown flood again. It’s sunny this afternoon, so hopefully by this evening it’ll dry up.

Anyway, Tuesday means a new challenge over at Loves Rubberstamps. This time is for all of you because the theme is ANYTHING GOES!

Friend To Friend

Happy Monday everyone! It’s been a pretty eventful weekend what with Chinese New Year and all. We went to see the lion dance aka Barongsai in one of the malls in our area. It was lovely and I love it so much. I love observing all the different holidays here. During Chinese New Year a lot of my neighbors have parties and gatherings, when they do they usually end the night with festive fireworks. So so fun!

Anyway, I’m here to show you a card I made for The Rubber Buggy today. It’s one of my favorites!
