Easel Drawer Box Card With Stick Pin Holder

Oh yeah, that title is a mouthful isn’t it?! Heehee. This card is made for my YT idol, Sabs. She’s having a birthday and she loves all thing purple (lavender) and pinks but mainly she loves lavender. So I hope she’ll like this one that I made for her.

This is quite a detailed project and I combined a lot of techniques in making this. I must say I’m quite proud of this hehe. I also made the stick pins myself. I love making them eversince I bought loads of beads from the craft market a while back.

Loves Rubberstamps Challenge - Shades of Green

Happy Tuesday everyone! You know what that means right? Yeppers, a new challenge over at Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog! Go on over and join us because this week the theme is to use GREEN color on your projects.

When I think of green, especially at this time of year, I think about St.Patrick’s Day! We don’t celebrate it here, let alone know what that means. But I do have several Irish friends and I sometimes make them cards or send them some things. So for this time I made a pizza box using a corrugated cardboard. I LOVE these papers/cardboards, they are sooooo cool!

Sunday Blog Hop with Loves Rubberstamps! – Lovely Gable Box

Happy Sunday, all! It’s been a week of gloomy weather all around here, so I’m hoping it’ll be sunnier today. I have been coloring a lot this past week, so my plan starting today and for the next week is to turn those images into cards and other 3d items (bags/boxes). This year my resolution is to make cards and projects way ahead and if I’m not miscounting, I am all done for my DT duty cards for the next 4 weeks. ;)

I am meeting up with a a lot of my friends for a cardmaker’s community gathering in BSD today. It’s a big thing we do every 4-6 months. I know it’ll be amazing as always!

Today I don’t have a card to show you, but a gable box! I have been wanting to make some packaging like bags and boxes but always have to find an occasion to make it, otherwise I know it’ll be hard to store.

Happy Valentine’s Day!!

Happy Valentine’s Day!!!! Yep it’s THE most wonderful holiday of the year, at least for me. I am easily drawn to all things red, pink and hearts hahaha. I’m such a sucker for lovey dovey things. I am soooo happy that most of my friends whom I sent happy mails to got the package. I know one who hasn’t received hers yet due to the recent ash storm that hits nearby area. Hopefully she’ll get it soon.

Anyway, here’s one card that is yet to be delivered. It was supposed to be picked up yesterday, but she messaged me and told me she couldn’t make it so will have to give it to her when I see her next weekend. She knows she’s getting this, so I hope she’ll like it when it’s in her hands later. This is a tealight box card.

Loves Rubberstamps Challenge 90 - Paper Piecing

Hello everyone! How are you today? It’s been lovely outside today. One of the few days where I can see the sun but the weather is still pretty mild. So it’s a perfect day to craft. Oh what the heck, everyday is the perfect day to craft! Haha.

It’s Tuesday and there’s a new challenge over at Loves Rubberstamps. This week the theme is “Paper Piecing” and I’ve used one of the adorable images from our sponsor, The Paper Shelter. I used the pre-colored image then paper-pieced the dress. This is a paper bag that I made using the awesome Gift Bag Punch Board.

Paperbag Card

Hello everyone! It’s a really nice morning today. For once it has been dry hahaha. Hopefully this lasts all weekend long. We’re pretty sick of rain since it meant pools of water in front of our house. Ugh, this year is the worst!

Anywhoooo… I am here to show you a card I made. This is a paperbag card and I had lots of fun making it. This is new to me and made me even ordered some new white paperbags, though of course, those haven’t been used yet lol.

Saturday Inspiration: Mini Pizza Box

Hey all! It’s time for a new Saturday Inspiration! Christmas is almost here and in my house we’ve got loads of wrapping gifts to do, some don’t really have good boxes that come with it like jewelry. So I made this mini pizza box to hold small gifts. It’s quick, easy and really cute!

Saturday Inspiration: A2 Coordinating Envelope With Liner

Hello and happy Saturday (on your neck of the woods)! How are you? It’s been really hectic for me this week because my nieces are staying over until  Christmas, and we do lots of things together. But it was all so fun :)

Anyway, as always, here’s a tutorial I posted on how to make an A2 envelope plus the liner with the ever so popular envelope punch board. The envelope coordinates with the card I made previously :)

I Am Back!

Hey guys! If you’re wondering why I have gone quiet the last few weeks… Well there has been lots of things going on. First, the whole house was sick and so the vicious circle began. One recovered then the next fell ill with cold and cough. Ugh, simply horrible. And then what’s truly heartbreaking was my hub’s uncle who wed us died. We had to make tough decision regarding this because he was on life support for a while and it was totally hell to let go :( But things are great now… We’ve moved on and slowly picking things up. Like, I bought a new oven too to boost my mood :D

Anyway, let me give a you a recap of a few videos I uploaded as my Saturday Inspirations for Loves Rubberstamps.

First is a tutorial on glittered die cut element using double sided tape and glitter.

Saturday Inspiration: Treat Pouch!

Super quick post because it’s late and I have been frustrated all day with this internet connection problem of mine! I can’t upload and even browse sometimes! So I can finally post now.

Here is a new tutorial video from me for the Saturday Inspirations post over at Loves Rubberstamps. It’s so simple to make and also quite cute. This is especially perfect for when you want to mass produce treat pouch/bag!

Saturday Inspirations New Post!

Hello all! Yes, in my neck of the woods, it’s Sunday.. But I just got home from my brother’s place so I just posted this now and I was in a hurry yesterday.

You know when it comes to tweens and teens, presents can be a bit tricky. My solution is to give them money, especially for their birthdays. Now rather than just giving them money in an envelope, I decided to pretty up the money holder!

Update and a New Saturday Inspirations Video!

Hey all.. I have been rather quiet because it’s been a chaotic week. My Dad was hospitalized and I had to stay with him in the hospital so I can’t really do a lot of things. His prostate was bleeding and we found out that it was due to complications of his heart meds (which includes a blood thinner/coagulant) and his prostate meds. The doctors said that it was the result of the long term effects of the blood thinner. He has been discharged and doing well at home at the moment. The doctors also has changed his heart meds to prevent this from happening again.

Now since I didn’t posted any Saturday Inspirations video last week, I did a little double dipping today. Here’s a tut on how to make a tea bag book and also how to apply flocking powder to your image.

Lovely Altered Notecard Box

Way before I got into stamping, I was so into altering things. I do it 100% hybrid and I kind of miss it lately. So here’s another altering attempt I made.

The flowers/roses are handmade using die cuts by Cheery Lynn. I don’t have many flowers especially of this color so I had to make it myself. I then ‘sugared’ the flowers using some Martha Stewart clear glitter.

Make A Wish

It’s such a bittersweet day for me today. I am getting ready to go to my best friend’s day at the moment and am sneaking in a little post before I go. Today’s her last day in Jakarta and tonight she is leaving for Sydney again. We have been friends for almost TWENTY years and it still breaks my heart when we part. Our story is extraordinary and believe me when I say extraordinary because we have never lived in the same city for more than 3 years. Yet, we are the closest friends to each other. Now that’s special :)

Anyway, here’s the card I am showing you today. Pink galore!!

You’ve Got Mail(boxes)!

Ah it’s been a while since I’ve posted a 3D project! I have been making these for a couple of months now, and have been so crazy about how cute they all turned out. It started in February when everyone is crazy about making cards and postal packaging for the Valentines. I cannot get those cute metal mailbox tin you guys in the US get in the dollar bins (because a. I live in Indonesia, b. sending them here requires a bit quite a lot of a postage fee), so I began searching for alternatives. I made my own mailbox a couple of years ago, made of paper and emulates those mini mailbox tins. But this year I wanted something different. And so my search resulted in these adorable mailboxes. And I just kept making them!

PS. I know it’s not Valentine’s and these have Valentine’s written all over it, but who cares? These are just too stinkin’ cute not to make anytime of the year! ;p
