Make A Wish

It’s such a bittersweet day for me today. I am getting ready to go to my best friend’s day at the moment and am sneaking in a little post before I go. Today’s her last day in Jakarta and tonight she is leaving for Sydney again. We have been friends for almost TWENTY years and it still breaks my heart when we part. Our story is extraordinary and believe me when I say extraordinary because we have never lived in the same city for more than 3 years. Yet, we are the closest friends to each other. Now that’s special :)

Summer’s End

Hey all! It’s Monday again and I’m feeling a little blue.. It’s nearing the end of August and it means Summer is really gone… Plus, our temporary helpers will go back home to their hometown tomorrow because our live-in helpers are back. I kinda like them a lot and it feels bad letting them go. But I do need to remember that we already do have permanent helpers.

Oh it’s Friday again! Can’t believe it’s almost weekend here and it’s the last week of my best friend’s visit. She lives in Sydney and visits Jakarta once a year so I have been spending a lot of time with her.

Hey all! Quite a nice day today. I had been doing a new workout regimen and my body feels a bit sore for the past 3 days but I love it. It keeps me feeling fresh somehow.

Shy Girl

Hey everyone! Wow, I can’t believe I can finally have a breather! My niece was here for almost a week and she’s very clingy to me, so I had limited time crafting or posting. I’m thankful that the holiday is upon us though. Tomorrow until early next week in Indonesia is a holiday. We have Eid Ul-Fitr celebrations here and I’m looking forward to it.

Hello There!

I told you a few days ago that I would feature a card that I made using image that I colored using colored pencils. Well here it is. I have another one, so be on the look out for that in the coming days.

I really need to color using my pencils more. I use Caran D’Ache Pablo Colored Pencils for this. I love the colors on the set. I have the most complete set and I adore each and every color. Unfortunately, they lack the colors for skin. I use Lyra skintone to color her skin here. The thing is, Lyra Skintone is too chubby for some small images. But coloring TGF images which has large areas to color is great.
