A Toast For You Card

The other day I saw one of my friends having a wine party with her girl friends over at Google Hangout. I thought it was such a brilliant idea. I started having some get-together with my old friends via Zoom and Google Hangout. I really loved it because I didn't have to pay a dime, didn't need to be stuck in traffic on the way to wherever the meetup was, and I get to wear whatever I want.

This card is an homage to those meetings. This is a card that will be sent to my good friend who loves her wine time during lockdown with her virtual friends.

Best Wishes To You

Here's a card that looks pretty classy. I love the glitter cardstock against the peachy tones here. The patterns are gorgeous. I am really a sucker for patterns. If you can look inside my hard drives (yes, plural), you can see my collection is mostly colorful patterns.

The image on this card looks like she's ready to party. She just needs a glass of Prosecco or Rose in her hand while enjoying the summer sunset with her friends. At this time around, probably in her balcony or online using Zoom. LOL.

Happiest Of Birthdays

I know a lot of June babies, even my niece was born in June. The card below is for one of the people who were born in June. I always thought that having a birthday in June or July is either a blessing or a curse. I mean, most of school holidays are around June and July, so those people would miss out on celebrating it at school. I remember my birthdays at school. From the cheesy ones in kindergarten to the more cheerful and fun ones in elementary school. Good good times.

Cute Anya

I have been binge-watching a lot of series and movies these past couple of months. I am getting more and more worried that we won't have any new content in the next couple of months, but it seems Netflix has been releasing so many content. I was so thrilled when one of my fave shows, Have I Got News For You, was back in April but I was also curious to see how they were going to do it because of the lockdown that went on in UK. Turns out it was alright. They didn't have any audience and all the panelists and hosts were broadcasting from their homes. At first it was weird because there were no audience who laughed at their jokes, but after a couple of episodes I got used to it.

Today I would like to share with you a cute card using another oldie but goodie stamp from The Greeting Farm. I have been their huge fan since the beginning of my cardmaking days. My love for their kawaii images grew more and more over time.

Thank You For Being Amazing

Hi! How are you all? I hope you are all doing well. I am still here, getting more and more comfortable with my WFH and quarantine routine. I have been watching a lot of Youtube videos and also attempting to craft hehe. This time I want to show you a card I made using my older stash. Both the papers and the stamp are quite old. I have had them for years I think. I have amassed quite a lot of digital kits/papers and clear stamps stash over the years. I made a point to at least work on the older ones I've never used at least once a month. If I like this, I might increase it to at least twice a month. That way I'll get to use aaaaaaaallll of my supplies (which, let's be real, won't happen lol).

Hello Gorgeous Card

Have you noticed that I now mostly color my stamps' hair black? It's because I give my cards to my friends and family, and most of them have black hair. I used to be so scared of coloring black hair because it looks either like grey hair or not "shiny" enough. It is quite hard to color black hair, but I wanted to keep practicing to have cards that looks like me and my friends/family.

Here's a new card I would like to share with you. It's a 6x6 card so it's quite large. I have to make a custom envelope for this and this will likely be sent to my good friend in Netherlands.

Hello!

Hey hey! I forgot to mention here that I was featured on a local infotainment portal as part of their Ramadan craft show called "Bikin Sendiri". I shot a 10-part series of easy crafting videos that were posted on their Facebook page. The shooting itself was very labor-intensive. We shot 10 videos over the course of only 2 days! From around 09:30 in the morning to around 23:00 for 2 consecutive days. Crazy! You can see the videos on their page or mine :)

Anyways, today I am sharing a sweet floral-themed card. I love the colors here and the sweet dainty patterns. Hope you like it too.

Let's Celebrate You Card

It's June! Wow! I can't believe it's almost mid-year! I've been staying home almost 3 months now and staying very very sane. I love it actually. I am quite a hermit and introvert, so doing things in my comfort zone at home is very nice for me. I am very very busy though. On average I have 3-5 meetings a day, most of them are back-to-back meetings. So afterwards, when I punch out I feel drained. Crafting helps though. It's my stress release.

Here's a pretty card I made using one of the smaller images from The Greeting Farm. The Bean stamps are smaller, cuter and comes as limited edition most of the time. I was not very confident coloring them, but when I finished it and put it in the card it got me hooked.
