CAS Hybrid

Once in a while I just want to showcase the wonderful patterned paper I love. Just like this one card I made, it’s very clean and simple and all supplies are digital. Digital paper and digital brush/stamp. I got the stamp/brush when it was on sale for Designer Digital’s 4th anniversary bash. I just had to use it right away because it was so nice! hehe. Here it is.

Tri Shutter Card – First Try!

You know my love of patterned papers right? So what better way to showcase them this way? Wow, this is also another thing that I am addicted to thesedays… Tri-shutter cards! It started when I did spring cleaning and found some papers with width of more than 12 inches in my stash so I decided to make good use of them and turned them to adorable tri-shutter cards! Not to worry though if you don’t have 12x12 paper, you can still use your regular sized paper to make tri-shutter card using these measurements I found here:

Start out with a 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of cardstock
Score at 1 3/4", 3 1/2", 7" and 8 3/4". Cut your lines horizontally at 1 1/2" and 3 1/2" from the first to the last score line.You will end up with a card that measures 3 1/2″ × 5″.

Anyway, here’s mine:

This is how it looks like when it’s closed. And here’s how it looks like when it’s (sprung) open!

Quilt A Card!

I’ve always loved quilted things, even one of my beloved bed covers is quilted (and it’s been with me for over 12 years I think). So when I saw this tutorial of a card inspired by quilting technique I am so eager to try it out! Here is my first try:

I wanted to add a sentiment in the front but it just looks great just as it is so I decided to leave it blank. It’s not too bad I think, though I could’ve planned the colors better and show off those beautiful patterns more. So I tried out another method of ‘quilting’ a card from this tutorial and made this:

Glossy Accents (though you can’t see the shine here hehe)

I have one more, well okay a FEW, quilted card(s) in the works. It’s a bit tedious (but not too much, I swear) but so addictive!

Have a lovely Monday and happy Easter holiday everyone!

Pretty Tea Box

Hey everyone! I hope you’re all having a great Tuesday (or on the other side of the world, Monday hehe). Here’s another tea box which I really love, too bad the photo didn’t do much justice to it.

Baby Oh! Baby

A while back a colleague gave birth to a baby girl. So of course I took that as an excuse to package the baby gift with a touch of hybrid craft hehe. I made a box which has a cute onesie inside and also a card to go with it. Here is the result:

Tea Boxes

Finally! Hehehe, I am posting again. There has been a big changes in the office and I need to settle a lot of things. I was planning to schedule my posts, but with the little time I had, I didn’t even have time to compose the posts.

So, here are the tea boxes! I had to quickly take photos of them before I gave them away, so I’m sorry for the not up to par qualities hehe. It’s also missing one box because it’s still in my laptop, unretouched. Will post that later.
