Sweet Cupcake

Yes… Cupcakes are my ultimate obsession! I don’t know how many embellishments, stamps, kits and real-life accessories that I have related to cupcakes. I make them, eat them and just simply adore them! I mean, you can never go wrong with cupcakes. You can make an extremely difficult cake and it would turn out great because they’re tiny… Very little room for error plus it tastes deeeeeelish!

Oh and I am so excited because I am building up my tools stash. My Corner Chomper just arrived yesterday and I am amazed at how such a small rounded corners could make such a big difference!  And the card/bookmark above was made with Circle Nestabilities and Big Shot. Here are the new stuff that I finally got after months pondering hahaha.

I finally got this because I’ve read A LOT of reviews and it seems that this baby is a lot of crafters’ go-to die cutting machine. It’s easy to use and very chic, I must say! And also I love the fact that I don’t need gazillion adapters to cut dies from various manufacturers.

I was a bit torn between this one or Zutter Round-It-All, but I chose this one eventually because I don’t need two separate corner punch :)

I finally gotten myself Nesties!!! Always wanted one in like, a year!! So happy! Although I must admit, I should’ve bought the classic circles one instead of the petite circles. But this set is a great starter set and I am totally addicted to die-cutting with my nesties :)

Dog Days Of Summer

… is over.. Or did we ever get summer? You know this year in Indonesia, well particularly Jakarta, where I live, there seems to only have 1 season. The rainy season! It’s gloomy, which is good when you’re at home curling up in bed or sofa with a book in hand and a cuppa. But it’s hell on the road! Well anyway, I did halt my crafting this past month but I couldn’t help myself and bought loads of digi-goodies. When there are sales in my fave shop, I would rush there and buy eyecandies! hehehe.

A couple of weeks ago from Designer Digitals’ Quarterly Annual Sale, I bought these:

KT131242 KT957882

PP682345 PP988344

PP735894 PP189153

PP771886 DS250397

If you’re wondering why I bought those photo masks, in case you didn’t know, I was a digital scrapbooker way before dabbling into papercrafting. And so I am planning on doing it again really soon. I need to start documenting my life and surroundings again, just like I used to. I do miss scrapping a lot, but my heart’s still not in the right place to do it again.

Anway, enough with the sappy stuff. Moving on to new stuff I made :D

This is a birthday card I gave to my morning show partner, Steve Rock :) He’s having his birthday today. Congrats, old man!  Hehe. He’s the reason why I am where I am today. He’s a great friend and even a better partner in my line of work, I continually learn from him.

Happy Tuesday!

I love Tuesdays… It’s the time when it’s almost mid-week. And why do I love mid-week? Because I have my day off at work! I go to work on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday only. Sounds fun right? But the downside is I have to get up at 4 AM and be at work before 6 because my session (I am a radio announcer) starts at 6 AM until 10 AM. It’s a dream though, it’s one of the most coveted slots on the radio and everyday I am grateful for this blessing.

Anyway, I love making 3D projects but sometimes I found it gathering dust before I can give it away to someone. I made these though, and found that it’s so addictive to make packaging! These two projects started when my best friend from Sydney gave me physical 12x12 scrapbooking papers. She knew I do strictly hybrid crafting but she said she was tempted because the pattern was cute. She was right, I fell in love with the papers and just had to make something out of them! (though, of course I had to print out my own digital papers and make them hybrid don’t I? ;p)

This one I made to pack a few muffins I made for hubby’s workmates, instructions to make this basket can be found here.

Digital Tuesday Challenge #77

It’s all about the girls! That’s what it said on the challenge. And I can’t resist making one that’s bright and girly.

Card Chain Challenge

Last month I have the courtesy to join Card Chain Challenge over at Deborah Nolan’s blog where we would have to send a card to someone who’ve signed up on top of us. I think it’s so fun! I’m already signing up for next month and can’t wait to send in mine :)

Here’s my August Card Chain Challenge that I sent out to Karen G.

Resurfacing

Hi everyone!

Yes I am back… I’m sorry to leave you hanging… I have had a rough month. My auntie just died, and honestly it was a devastating moment for me. In less than a year 2 of my relatives who were close to me died. I lost my mojo and I’m still trying to cope with everything. But over time I guess crafting is a natural therapy for me to overcome these grief. It has been a really rough year, but I’m sure I’ll get through it fine :)

So yesterday, I pulled my unfinished cards and supplies and actually started crafting again. I felt good. I found my groove again.

Anyway, here’s the first card I finished.

Have a great weekend, see you really soon again!
