Happy Tuesaday, everyone! I can’t wait to get back to Jakarta and craft again as I have so many ideas in my head. Plus, I shopped a lot of things during Black Friday hahaha. I hope I’ll get to play with them soon.

I colored a lot of Christmas images this week, but I haven’t made them into cards. In the meantime, enjoy a “Summery” card here today. I have an excuse because it’s Summer in the Southern Hemisphere, right?

Hello hello everybody!

When this post is up I will (hopefully) be in Manila. For work, of course, but I’m so excited because I have never been to Philippines before. I hope I’ll get to explore around there for the 6 days that I am there. The weather in Jakarta has been quite terrible because we have the monsoon and Dahlia storm. I hope by the time I get home it’ll all cleared up.

Don’t Be Afraid To Be Great

Ahhhh, I can’t believe the Holidays are almost here! This Thanksgiving flew by so fast. We don’t celebrate it here, but I do celebrate Black Friday hahaha.

Anyways, I am trying to speed up making Christmas cards this month. I have a few cards still that I want to post here. Next mornth I will be away for most of the month because I have my annual meeting in Amsterdam and hopefully a trip with my brother and his family to France. Yep, going back there again. It’s almost like a habit, going back to the same place twice a year LOL.

Hello, hello all! I am back! Summer has been hectic and exciting, but I am back and settling down nicely. I got promoted a couple of months back as a regional team leader and I was busy with recruitment and handovers. It’s still pretty hectic at work and I was sick quite a bit. But I am determined to always craft whenever I can. And I still do! It’s just that photographing my works has been such a chore! Last week I finally took photos of my recent cards. Minal Aidin Wal Faidzin! It’s the second day of Eid Al Fitr and Jakarta is as usual very quiet. The house has been quite today eventhough that was not the case yesterday. As always a lot of my father’s relatives came over every year to celebrate the day. My father is a first-born so naturally all her sisters and relatives visit him.

Finally it’s Friday! Last day of work before the highly anticipated long weekend! I am soooo happy to be able to sleep in and laze around the house eventhough I’m guessing my nieces and nephew will be coming over and spend time with me and my parents until Monday. I don’t mind though, I have missed them so much!

Happy Monday, everyone! It’s been a short but sweet ride in Paris and now I am heading back to Jakarta. It has been such an awesome summer holiday! I think this is my second summer trip to Europe (during my adult life hehe) and eventhough it’s so packed but the weather and view was breathtaking. I think next time Spring or Autumn would be a better (and cheaper!) option hehe.

I am traveling from London back to Paris today. Kind of bittersweet as this is my second trip to London this year. The city is amazing and I never get tired of it. I have been so into British things lately, maybe the past 4 years. It started with their TV shows. After discovering their TV show, Sherlock, I get hooked on other shows including two of my all time favorites: Great British Bake Off and Have I Got News For You. Yes, those two shows are very different but are both so interesting and funny hehe.

Oh Happy Day!

It was such a lovely weekend last Saturday. My good friend Izumi married the love of her love in such a perfect summer day. It was beautiful and lively. I met her when I was in Elementary school, the first time I went to Europe. We were in the same tour around Europe, she was with her brother and parents and I was with my aunt. Long after the tour ended we kept in touch via snail mail, until we discovered Facebook. I met her again last year in Tokyo after almost 20 years. It was so delightful. When she invited me to attend her wedding this summer I said yes immediately and it was the right decision since I got a very low price deal for flight. I mean it’s summer and I got less that 800 dollars for a return ticket! Must be fate :)

Anyway, to celebrate her wedding, here’s a card featuring a bride and a cute little birdie. I haven’t made cards with a Magnolia stamp in a while. I love how it turned out :)

I know that school would probably be out when this post is up, but I found this image perfect for the papers here. It’s like she’s jumping for joy on the last day of school before summer. The original image came with a skull on the center of her bow, so I covered it with a rhinestone. Hehe.

It’s my traveling day today and I am so excited. I will be going to France today to attend my friend’s wedding in Pont Saint Esprit later in the weekend. Don’t ask me where that is, since all I know it’s in South of France and I’ve never been there before.

Best Wishes Card

I have been making cards for so long now, I think almost 10 years now. I don’t sell my cards because in here it’s priced so low. Once I was asked why my cards were priced $3.50 eventhough it was painstakingly handmade and have embellished quite heavily. I was so surprised and discouraged that people would rather buy a mass-produced flat greeting cards at the price of $8 – $10 than my handmade, hand-colored $3.50.

Now I take my cards to my office once or twice a year and let anyone who wants cards to take whichever ones they want, for free. They appreciate my cards more and some even offered to pay me, but I think it’s better to give them away. They save it and send it to their Moms, partners and close ones. That makes me even more happy.

Hello everyone! How is your weekend? It’s coming to a close for me here and I have spent it lounging around the house as I have it all to myself this weekend. Shine Bright Like A Diamond

Happy Friday everyone! I am flying to Singapore tomorrow for a little getaway then a series of business meetings on Monday and Tuesday. I love going to Singapore. I think I went there 6 times last year alone, mostly for work. I love the fact that they have good scrapbook stores there and sometimes good deals. So I usually snatch stuff like stamps and cardstock while I’m there. Let’s see what I’ll get this time around.

Anyway, here’s a card that goes straight into my favorites list. Just look at that cutie! She’s so sweet! Also I love the flowers and blings. In real life, that gold card shines really nicely against the soft colors.
